About Troop 708
Uniform
T he uniform motto for Troop 708 is, "Dress like a Scout. Act like a Scout." Our boys take pride in their troop and it shows in their appearance at all troop functions. We have three uniform styles that are worn, depending on the function.
- Class A Formal - To be worn at all Scoutmaster Conferences, Board of Reviews, Courts of Honor and other formal occasions as directed by the Scoutmaster

Merit badge sash
OA sash (if applicable)
Camping fob
Knotmaster level rope
- Class A - To be worn on each troop function (meetings, travel to and from campouts and other activities, ceremonies and other functions as directed by the Scoutmaster).

- Class B - To be worn as directed by the Scoutmaster.

- General Policies Applying to all Uniforms
- Participation in troop activities requires the proper uniform.
- Camouflage cannot be worn with Class A Formal or Class A uniforms, period.
- Appropriate attire must be worn at all times.
- Clothing depicting or promoting anything contrary to the Scout Law, Scout Oath, Scout Promise or the ideals of Scouting is inappropriate.
- If a Scout has earned 6 or more merit badges, the badges must be attached to a sash and worn over the shoulder. If the Scout is OA, then the merit badge sash must be worn over the belt.
- No open toed show allowed, period.
